Hey! I’m Dan.
Marriage & Family Therapist
I became a therapist after working as a touring musician for 20 years. I’ve always written about emotions and hope to inspire others to get in touch with their own. My work has afforded me the opportunity to develop life experiences alongside cultures around the world, and although I’ve lived many places Kansas City has been my home for a decade.
I lost my dad at a really young age. Working through that loss with a therapist made me aware of the healing that is possible through therapy. I’ve processed family trauma and my own divorce, and know that I don’t have to do this alone. I’m a survivor, I work hard to be present and take care of what’s coming up in the moment.
Through my creative endeavors therapy is something I feel like I’ve been doing for most of my life, and I feel so lucky to be doing this work in a grounded and sustainable way.
I have been there, and sometimes still am. Just like everyone else I am not perfect, but I’m willing to go with you, to those places in your life that you thought were once impossible to go through.
