a sense of connection.
Don’t continue doing life closed off and disconnected. Open yourself up to connection and find the peace you’ve been needing.
I want to help, but more importantly I want to point you back to you.
You don’t deserve to keep living in the dark. There is hope for all the parts of you.

Dan Smith M.S., LMFT
Marriage & Family Therapist in the Kansas City Crossroads.
I am the therapist for people ready to do the work to heal, no matter what.
Before becoming a therapist I worked for two decades traveling the world as a touring musician. Traveling has shaped my view of humanity and has allowed me to live and work in many corners of our world. I’ve written songs about emotion, surviving, and that we are not alone in this one wild and precious life we are living.
I’m an artist, a trauma survivor, a free-thinker, and a person who tries to maintain a spiritual connection to myself. I want to take care of what’s coming up in your life without judgment and try to help unlock those parts of you that seem impossible to look at.
Let’s work together.
I consider myself a healer, and want to help you start living more authentically in the moment. Let’s foster connection to your own spirituality, support growth, and find peace in your life.
I care for you and I’m not going anywhere.
There’s no issue too small or too big. I believe at some point in our lives we all need someone to talk to, to sort through our past and take a look at why we do the things we do. It’s time to untangle some of life’s problems with a professional.
